Drama/Movie Listing

One of these days I need to make a list of all the dramas I have and which ones I've watched (which i no longer have).  I've done fairly well at keeping track on Jdorama but I haven't been there lately to update.

Although it would be nice to go through everything I have again.  I might even take a chance to re-watch certain things.  One day.

Summer 2012 Dramas

Summer dramas are starting to premier within the next 2 weeks and I, of course, have a huge list of dramas to watch this summer.  Summer is always one of the best times for the best dramas.  I'm not particularly sure why, but it just always happens that way.

This season I have 8 dramas listed:
- GTO
- Richman, Poor Woman
- Beginners
- Sprout
- Naniwa Shounen
- Tsurukame Josanin
- Beautiful Rain
- Boys on the Run

I was going to say "did you notice a pattern" but there actually isn't one haha.

The main one I'm anticipating is GTO.  I loved the first one.  It was one of the first dramas I watched and a remake will not replace that, but I'm excited to see what they do with this version.

Never Did...

... get a chance to finish doing my updates for the summer huh?  After a bug had hit my computer, the pictures I saved for screenshots from Ouran got deleted by my mistake. So I need to go do that someday when I have the chance.  Gonna do little by little now that school started and it's my last semester so my time is being constricted.

I wanna finish Ouran before I lose interest.

I also lost interest in Fall dramas completely.  Although while I do have Runaway and Kaseifu, I never got a chance to watch it.  And now that it's Winter season, which I did pick up a couple dramas to watch as well, I'm not sure when I'll get a chance to watch everything in its entirety.

I also still have a couple dramas with 1 episode a piece that Im still not sure if I should pick up or not, but I'm most likely going to delete them.  Sorry Ningen Bem, it's most likely going to get deleted.

Fall 2011 Drama Season

I'm not interested in too many dramas this season, although I may end up picking some up along the road when I'm not so busy.  I still need to finish up doing reviews for the other Summer dramas before I can start the Fall season, but I do have a list of what dramas I'm interested in watching, not necessarily watching:

- Hunter
- Kaitou Royale
- Kare, Otto, Otoko Tomodachi
- Kaseifu no Mita
- Mitsu no Aji
- Watashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuu
- Youkai Ningen Bem
- Runaway

It's a long list yeah?  I've already stopped collecting Hunter, Mitsu no Aji and Watashi ga Renai Dekinai Riyuu after 2 episodes.  I've skimmed through Kaitou Royale, Kaseifu no Mita, Youkai Ningen Bem and Runaway and I can see myself watching those 4 thoroughly.  I've actually been waiting for Runaway to release since I heard the announcement and that was the only drama I was interested in watching for the Fall season.  I picked up Kaitou Royale because its only 30min long in the Friday Break spot, the series airing after Ouran.  Kaseifu I picked up because it's being subbed quick (to be honest haha) and I like Matsushima Nanako.  I also took a chance with Ningen Bem because of Kame, plus I like the idea that it's a CGI drama.

We'll see what happens.  It looks like as of now that Runaway isn't going to be subbed which I'm really disappointed in, but it won't stop me from watching it.  I've been waiting for this drama for awhile now.

Update: School

neglecting everything right now (even Ouran, even though I HAVE watched them all to date) because school is getting hectic and there's like a party every weekend haha.

I got HALF of episode6 of Ouran capped, but I cant do the rest until maybe Friday afternoon.
Got quizzes and 2 midterms this week and then a midterm and quizzes next week to study for (and I'll be out on Sunday leaving Sat as a study day).  I really wanna post up ASAP just so i can get them out of my queue list and move on, but it's unfortunate that I cant.  Can't I have another vacay please? :)

Update: Changing things up

I was going to review Don Quixote, but I might not in the end of it.  Ive watched half of the first episode and as much as I want to finish it, I just can't keep myself glued to the computer to watch it.  I will definitely finish it, one day, and keep with the drama, but it's not gonna be in my priority.

I've already lost any interest in HanaKimi 2011. It's on my drama list still, just has no priority, not even sure if I'll even watch the series in its entirety.  I've skimmed the first 2 episodes and arent really feeling it.

I'm adding IS ~Otoko demo Onna demo nai Sei onto my list.  I over looked this drama when i was looking at the summer list and I'm glad I went back and got a chance to read more about it.  Ive watched the first couple minutes so far, but havent gotten a chance to watch the rest.  I might be doing that just now.

I've watched a bit of Ikemen desu ne, and then skimmed the rest.  The acting by Takimoto Miori seems horrible.  It's so exaggerated.  I've lost interest. It'll stay on the list, but I don't see myself ever actually watching it.

Ouran I've watched the first episode and am ready to review it, but I have a test coming up and wont be able to do so until Tuesday.  I'll also go ahead and do Bull Doctor and Soredemo, Ikite Yuku then also.

Drama Update #2

I actually didn't watch Meitantei Conan yet, but for some reason I ended up watching episode 2 of Bull Doctor which I will review within the next 2-3 days, or maybe even today if I finish it on time. 

Since I just finished my exam (and wont be having one until another 2 weeks), my priority this week is:
- Bull Doctor ep02 (review)
- Meitantei ep01 (watch/review)
- Soredemo, Ikite Yuku ep02 (watch/review)
- Don Quixote ep01 (watch/revew)
- Hana Kimi ep01 (watch/review/compare)
- Ikemen desu ne ep01 (watch)

And I'll try to do this all before Ouran releases this weekend.  My main priority will end up being Ouran when it airs on Friday and I'll just go for whatever I feel like watching at the time.

Drama Update

I was planning on doing Meitantei Conan tomorrow, but I'm not sure since I have an exam to study for on Monday.  I'll probably have time to watch it tomorrow afternoon, but wont be able to comment about it until later on Monday afternoon.  I skimmed through the first episode and it seemed kind of boring, but we'll see if it'll be interesting enough to keep.

I also have Don Quixote waiting to be watched as well, but I'm going to have to wait on that since I wasn't planning on watching it, but skimming through it, it seemed interesting enough.  Piece Vote is also on queue but even though it's only a 22min drama (30min including cms), Im most likely going to drop it, unless it wows me within the first 2 episodes.

Since Hana Kimi 2011 is out, I've only heard negative comments about it and it's basically the same complaints that everyone's had since even before the drama came out.  No one's actually mentioned anything else, so I might take that into consideration when I get a chance to watch it, meaning that, I'll criticize things that people haven't mentioned yet that doesn't have anything to do with Hana Kimi 2007 or at least attempt to.  The only positive thing I've heard so far is people picking their favorite ACTORS, not characters.  Also need to mention that after the first episode people were trending "Futsumen Paradise" meaning "Average guys paradise" haha. I honestly have to agree with that, not being biased, but it's most likely because of how old I am and how old the guys are.
Ok so, I WILL be doing a different kind of review/summary for Hana Kimi which is a comparison to the original.  And I KNOW I shouldn't be doing that despite what I've just said, or what I've said previously, but I threw that all out after more info came out about the drama.
