Drama: Houkago wa Mystery to Tomo ni ep01-09 Final

Plot:
High school student Kirigamine Ryo (Kawaguchi Haruna) is the vice president of the detective club at Koigakubo Academy, a school on the outskirts of Tokyo’s Kokubunji. Posing as a famous detective, she makes deductions to solve various cases that occur within the school. But because her deductions are flawed, she never solves the cases. She is helped by her biology teacher Ishizaki Hiromi (Hayami Mokomichi), detectives and suspects, as the cases are solved.
Credit: Jdrama Weblog

Cast: Kawaguchi Haruna, Hayami Mokomichi, Takashima Masanobu

Story:
Kirigamine Ryo, a cute, 16-year-old girl, with a great fast ball (as she puts it), that always gets mistaken for a boy because of her name and the way she talks.  And always gets made fun of for having a name like an air conditioner.

Ishizaki Hiromi is Ryo's biology teacher and soon head of her Detectives club. He's a bit eccentric (i think a bit is an understatement!) but really smart and able to solve crime cases almost immediately.

Ryo had picked up an interest in mystery cases and became the vice manager of her detectives club.  Every episode she witnesses a crime and takes it into her own hands to solve the case, or more like, butts in.  After writing down all her information, she takes a look through her student handboook with all her notes.  When she finally gets to the last page, she witnesses her favorite baseball player's picture and her idea of who the criminal is comes about.

She always picks the most obvious suspect, but under Ishizaki-sensei's advising, he tells her she's wrong.  Turns out in most cases she's actually right, its just her assumption of how the crime played out is what's wrong.

Arc #1: A member of the school track team was knocked out unconcious at the sand pit.  Ryo tries to figure out who attempted to murder him. (turns out he stepped on a sand rake that was left there, hidden in the sand, and it smacked him in the back of the head.)

Arc #2: An acting group of former students from Koigakubo come back to put on a play for the students.  The most popular girl in the group was attacked at night.  Ryo accuses the other girl in the group because of her jealousy, but she had an alibi.  (turns out Ryo was correct, but her alibi was a cover up of her attempted murder)

Arc #3: Ryo's friend, Nao is sad that her grandpa had been injured which could have been due to an attempted murder.  When she goes to visit Nao's family's house, her grandpa had been poisoned.  Ryo accuses the maid because she was the one that served them drinks.  Ishizaki-sensei tells her she had no reason to kill him and that her accusation details dont make sense.  (turns out Ryo was correct, but the maid's reason for murder was different).

Story #4: Ryo's rival, Arakida, was attacked in the fine arts room. Ryo runs through this building and finds suspects lurking at all exits of the building.  She accuses everyone and all the possibilities as to why they would attack him.  Ishizaki-sensei leads Ryo to the right suspect and possible reason of attack (turns out Ryo had at least accused one of the suspects correctly but the reason was completely off.  Mistaken identity is the reason for the attack, because of Ryo)

Arc #5 (Final): A teacher loses consciousness after a student falls from the roof of a building and lands on top of her.  It is assumed that the student was trying to commit suicide but the student regained consciousness saying she didnt and that someone tried to kill her.  The case is presumed as a closed-case because all the doors were locked and a student on the stairway did not see anyone.  (turns out the attack was by the teacher that lost consciousness. Pushing the student off the building in an attempt to avenge her sister who committed suicide because of bullying due to the student.  The students body was dangling in a tree before dropping to the ground on top of the teacher).

Comments:
The drama only has a slight connection episode-to-episode.  Besides having 2-episode arcs, stories dont usually connect, meaning that if you watch the series midway, not having watched the first episode wont stop you from understanding the rest of the series.  I mean, she introduces herself in the beginning of each episode, and explains what had happened the episode before and there the episode continues.

The only thing that does connect is due to character development.
- There's an ongoing creepiness that Ishizaki-sensei has about a woman's body hidden inside a cooler.  Buying her things to prepare for a wedding he wants them to hold.  In the end the woman that was hidden in the cooler was a doll named Mariko.
- Ryo and Arakida's ongoing rivalry, which im still confused about.  Does he like her? I'm pretty sure he does, it's just the things he says makes me think otherwise lol.

I was really excited at the time the drama was announced.  I love both Hayami Mokomichi and Kawaguchi Haruna. When I first skimmed through the first episode I wasn't really feeling it, it seemed kind of "tacky" so I was close to dropping it.  The day that I was actually going to get rid of it, subs were actually getting released.  So I gave it another try and I ended up actually liking it.

The type of comedy and acting is something that people need to get used to.  If you don't watch enough comedic dramas, then the acting will get on your nerves really badly because of all the over-exaggeration.  I can't even really say much more about it.  It's a fun drama.  Not your typical tantei stories, but still pretty good.  I'd give this a 6 out of 10.  It's a quick drama to get through so even if you don't like it, it wont take you long to finish, though i wouldn't see a reason to finish the drama if you didnt like it in the first place haha

Drama/Movie Listing

One of these days I need to make a list of all the dramas I have and which ones I've watched (which i no longer have).  I've done fairly well at keeping track on Jdorama but I haven't been there lately to update.

Although it would be nice to go through everything I have again.  I might even take a chance to re-watch certain things.  One day.

Movie: Crows Zero II

Plot:
Several months after "Crows: Episode 0" trouble brews again when thugs known as "The Army of Killers" from rival high school Hosen Academy threaten Suzuran High aka the School of Crows.
The ruthless Hosen gang go after Suzuran alumni Sho Kawanishi (Shinnosuke Abe) after his released from reformatory for killing a Hosen member two years back. Kawanishi turns to his younger Suzuran gang members for protection. The Housen gang then seeks out right revenge on the entire Suzuran school, while in-fighting at Suzuran High makes them even more susceptible to the Housen threat.

Cast: Oguri Shun, Yamada Takayuki, Kuroki Meisa, Kiritani Kenta, Takaoka Sousuke, Nobuaki Kaneko, Ayano Go, Daito Shunsuke, Miura Haruma, and a bunch of others that I don't want to list.... XD

Comments:
I don't know what it is about me and "yankee" movies.  Delinquent movies are so awesome... so much better than chick flicks haha, anyways..

I didnt realize that when I got this movie, it was the 2nd movie not the first.  So I'm not exactly sure if I had to watch the first movie in order to get the 2nd one.  The only thing that I do understand that I missed was that Genji Takiya (Oguri Shun) had beat the last leader Serizawa Tamao (Yamada Takayuki) to become the new leader of the school.  Other than that, I don't know if the rival school had any influence in the first movie for the 2nd.

This movie had a huge cast of actors that I know and recognize.  I'm going to start off with the acting.  I thought everyones acting was pretty good.  A lot of them, or pretty much all of them are seasoned actors which really propelled the storyline.  What I wasn't impressed with was Nobuaki Kaneko's acting.  Ive seen a couple things with him in it and I'm sorry but I didn't like how exaggerated his acting was in this movie.
I also didn't like how small a part Miura Haruma had.  I thought it would have been bigger considering he's the brother of the guy that was killed during battle between the schools.  Unless this is a set up for another movie?

Fighting scenes in the movie were pretty good.  Pretty believeable.  I also like that they held onto their wounds and scars throughout the movie.  I hate watching a drama and then the next episode theyre all clean and shiny.  There's no reality to that.  I like that they all split up, working together to conquer all the delinquents and one by one they took their opportunity to showcase who they are.  It was a battle of similiar strengths basically.  I thought the movie was going to be darker or heavy than it actually was, just because the way it was filmed.

I'm going to give this a 8 out of 10 because of story progression, great actors, the fact its a delinquent movie and has a lot of my favorite actors in it.  It's just I don't think i'll ever rewatch it again ahah.

Movie: Crime or Punishment?!?

Plot: Riko Narumi plays an unpopular idol who in an attempt to boost her faltering career becomes police chief for a day. During the day a robbery occurs at a convenience store and instead of letting a real police chief deal with the robbery she decides to take the matter into her own hands.
Credit: AsianWiki

Cast: Narumi Riko, Nagayama Kento, Inuyama Inuko, Okura Koji, Okina Megumi, Ando Sakura

Comments: The plot description is more or less correct.  Narumi Riko's character is unpopular, but I wouldn't go far to say she was an idol. Gravure model, even stepping up to AV model would be correct.  She had no choice but to become the police chief for the day because of a petty crime she committed and she had to take up the position because all the other popular models were busy.

This was one of the weirdest movies I've watched, but the set-up was so brilliant.  It's just all the scenes itself are so random and weird.  Scenes didn't make sense on their own... well no I can't really say that.  They... how do i put this.  They're typical scenes (at home, at the store, etc) but the things they were doing there were pretty weird/crazy.

The movie starts off with this guy going to the convenience store and the girl that works there mistakens him for one of her regular customers and hands him random items.  He heads off to do whatever it is he needs to do, witnesses a murder, and as he's about to call for help he gets run over by some guy driving a huge truck or bus. i wanna say Winnebago (do you all know what that is? ... err RV? LOL).  Scene changes..

Ok.. weird... what am i watching? The start of the movie really sets up for the rest of the movie, which is based off of that murder.  I'm not gonna go too deep into each scene but I'll go ahead and describe what had happened.
- Narumi's character, Ayame, gets arrested for stealing a magazine that she was in. She didnt understand why her picture was upside down and had a mark on her face.  She was gonna buy it but stole it since she lost her wallet.
- Ayame gets caught, and is stuck playing police chief for the day.  She encounters her old love.
We see a flashback of their relationship.  Apparently he had killed about 8 women and one attempted murder on Ayame.  She always forgave him but he continued to do so (WTF?).
- A couple and one of their "friends" planned for a burglary of the convenience store that we saw in the beginning of the movie. Ended up kidnapping Ayame's rival, who is a very popular model. and their manager who tags along to scold her, but ends up getting kidnapped as well.
- Ayame realizes something and does take the opportunity to do her duty as a police chief and arrests all the people that gave her bullsh--
- Ayame comes to the rescue and gets the kidnappers/robbers arrested. Even frees her rival and manager.  Her love wanted to confess all his murders, but she said no, but he ends up getting arrested anyways.

The set up of the movie was amazing.  All of these scenes (with the exception of the flashback) happened over the course of ONE day.  All the scenes actually fit together.  Everytime a new scene came on, it gave a new detail that wasn't scene beforehand which explained why certain things had happened.  Everyone's connected in some way.  I love these kind of stories.  You get to see everyones point of view and why certain events happened.

What made this weird were how the stories progressed.  When the couple was in their room, and it was mentioned their walls were paper thin, they heard their neighbors having what they thought was sex.  Turns out it was Nakayama's character trying to kill his girlfriend.   Which was what the murder that had started the whole movie.  The bus/RV/truck that killed the man had some weirdos driving it which didnt make sense.. even after the movie ended it didnt make sense but it fit into the story for some reason..

All these things, made this movie hilarious to watch.  I want to give this a 7 out of 10.  It's funny, the story moved well, if you like weird things, this is a movie to watch, slight romance, little nudity (which was hilarious).  All in all i think its a pretty good movie.

Summer 2012 Dramas

Summer dramas are starting to premier within the next 2 weeks and I, of course, have a huge list of dramas to watch this summer.  Summer is always one of the best times for the best dramas.  I'm not particularly sure why, but it just always happens that way.

This season I have 8 dramas listed:
- GTO
- Richman, Poor Woman
- Beginners
- Sprout
- Naniwa Shounen
- Tsurukame Josanin
- Beautiful Rain
- Boys on the Run

I was going to say "did you notice a pattern" but there actually isn't one haha.

The main one I'm anticipating is GTO.  I loved the first one.  It was one of the first dramas I watched and a remake will not replace that, but I'm excited to see what they do with this version.

Movie: Koukou Debut

Plot: "Haruna Nagashima (Ito Ono) devoted herself to softball while in middle school. Now that she is in high school, Haruna believes its time find a boyfriend. Unfortunately for Haruna, she didn't pay attention to trends and is now clueless on how to attract a boy. Through a fortuitous event, Haruna encounters popular upperclassman You Komiyama (Junpei Mizobata) Haruna asks You to teach her how to become attractive to boys. You agrees but with one catch. She can't fall in love with him ..."

Cast: Mizobata Junpei, Ohno Ito, Suda Masaki, Aizawa Rina, Furukawa Yuki

Comment:
I have no idea why I got this movie in the first place.  The movie was too cute for my liking, but that doesn't mean it was bad.. but that also doesn't mean it was good. haha

A lot of people.. more like girls.. have talked about this movie, saying its one of their favorites and that it's really cute and all. And something about the manga...
I can't really say much about that since I didn't even know there was a manga, but I assume people liked it because it followed closely to the story?

Anyways.  The movie had its moments. It's a basic, predictable, romance movie.
Tomboy-girl tries to find a boyfriend. Boy tries to make her appealing.  Girl cant fall in love with boy.  Falls in love anyways.  He falls in love with her. They end up together.  Typical ending.  I didnt really like the main actress.  I thought she was really annoying, but maybe it's because of the way the character was written.  I'm not even going to say anything about Mizobata, because then it'd sound like I'm being biased (because I would be ;)).

I thought the younger sister was annoying as well, even more so than the main actress.  I think it's because of the way she talked.  I recognized Suda Masaki immediately but Furukawa Yuki it took me awhile to remember where i've seen him before (Asuko March.. would have never guessed haha).
The casting was pretty good.  I can't say if they matched the manga version well, but for the type of character they were playing, I think they did a pretty good job.

Overall, I want to give this movie.. mmm... maybe a 6.5/10. It's not my type of movie, but it wasn't particularly bad.

Comments:
This movie.... THIS MOVIE... is SO. Damn. Twisted.  While there's comedy in it, it's sickening.
It's sick, twisted, morbid, dirty, funny, disturbing........... and more, that i cant really find the words to describe.

Definitely not suitable for the young crowd.  There's a lot of sexual content.  Don't think there was nudity, but there were definitely a lot of panty shots and boners shown for a lifetime.

I didn't know what I was getting into when I got this movie.  I originally wasn't going to get this movie, but every time I went to search for certain genres, it'd pop up, so I thought why not, especially since Nissy was in it.  This movie really gave me a new perspective of him.... not really one I'd like to imagine, but yeah...

So the movie is broken up into chapters.  Some longer than others.  The first chapter seemed normal enough.  The mother gets sick, fairs her son some last advice, passes away and lives to help Dad.  Typical drama style.  So then, a woman enters into their lives, falls in the love with the dad, wants to become part of his family.  But here's where it gets a bit out there.  The dad had become a priest for a catholic church, so he cant fall in love with the women so goes against the catholic religion and secretly lives with her.  She breaks up with him because they cant get married.  The dad goes crazy, kept asking for the son to tell his sins on a daily basis and in order to get his dad's attention to starts to break a lot of rules and sin really badly to confess everyday.

.......... Sin-seeking........... that's the basic story of the first 1/4 of the movie.

The rest of the movie (and excuse my language from here-on out) gets hella fucking crazy.  The biggest sin this fool can do is become a panty photographer.  Sneaking upskirt shots of women and girls in the streets.  And he was doing all these crazy ass moves trying to get them. How the fuck can they not notice what he was doing?!  After getting caught by this one chick, he lets her off free, but you know this bitch is up to something cuz she starts stalking his ass.  He ends up losing a bet and has to dress as a women and kiss a girl in the street (which is described up top).  That chick falls in love with him... but she thinks he's a girl.. so she ends up thinking she's a lesbian.

She gets all hot and bothered when she thinks of his alter ego, yet she never knows that the person she fell in love with is actually a guy.  She hates men, thinks theyre the worst.  This chick is actually an "adopted" daughter of the lady that fell in love with the kids dad. they end up coming back together and the 4 live as a family.  He loves that chick, but she hates him and thinks hes a perv.  Crazy bitch starts to mess around with them.  Joins their school, lies that she's the alter ego, chick falls in love with her, and all this crazy ass bullshit happens.

So after it was revealed the kid was a perv to the class, he gets kicked out of the house and the family get abducted and brainwashed to join a cult called "Church Zero" (church zero? zero church? cant remember).  The kid tries to reprogram the chick but without success and gets dragged along to join the cult but didnt work out and she goes on a rampage and kills a bunch of people in an attempt to save the girl.  Everyone goes crazy, crazy bitch kills herself, the kid goes fucking psycho and then the last chapter occurs.

With all the intense moments in the middle of the movie, I was hoping the last chapter would end with something huge.  It ended lame.  The kid is in the psych ward thinking he's his alter ego. The reprogrammed chick goes there to save him.  She ends up doing so in the end but gets arrested, he chases after her and ... thats basically it... WHAT?!
-----
This movie is full of crazy ass shit that me explaining the movie can't justify.  I mean... this was full of almost 4 hours... 4 HOURS of manipulation and sinning and all this crazy shit.  On a catholic standpoint I felt disgusted that they were using that as a premise.  I thought it was going to be somewhat subtle, especially after the start of the movie but things started to propel worse and worse and got more perverted as the movie went along.  FOUR FUCKING HOURS.  Never have I ever had to watch a FOUR HOUR movie full of perverted shit.  NISSY.. HOW MANY BONERS DID YOU GET THROUGH THIS FUCKING MOVIE?!  MITSUSHIMA HIKARI.. HOW MANY TIMES DID YOU SHOW YOUR PANTIES?!!

You'd think that I'd give this movie a low rating, honestly I probably would but just for being this fucking perverted and fucking crazy I'm giving this shit a 10/10.  That's how fucking cool this shit was LMAO

I'm sorry about the language but that was me rambling my real thoughts about this movie.

Spring Dramas 2012

Because of finals and graduation I didn't have time to pick up any dramas from the Spring season.
That or nothing really interested me.

I did however pick up Shiritsu Bakaleya Koukou.  During drama announcements for the season, I didn't think this drama would be any good and the fact that it had AKB48 members really turned me off, but seeing everyones reactions to the drama I felt intrigued to try it out despite them being in it  Not to mention I AM a sucker for anything Johnny's related (.... usually haha)

This drama really impressed me and I'm actually finding myself not wanting to wait for the next episode to release.  I might end up doing an episode-to-episode review of this drama, but im not sure yet.

Drama: Ouran High School Host Club ep09

Official Site: TBS - Ouran High School Host Club

Story:
So the episode starts with the host club coming across some old lady who's being a huge bitch to Tamaki.  Turns out she's his grandmother.  The grandmother is resentful to Tamaki and the rest of the host club offer their opinions of the lady.

Haruhi announces to the club that she's going away for the summer working at a small pension (bed and breakfast).  The club is shocked and end up following her there to stay there as guests while she works.

Haruhi comes across an old friend from middle school who happens to be working at his uncles produce store.  Haruhi introduces him to the host club but only refers to Tamaki as a senpai.  He becomes depressed because he thought he would at least be given a better title.

Inside the pension, Haruhi and Arai-kun are talking, catching up with each other when the twins become jealous.  Hikaru gives a snarky comment and in the end Haruhi slaps him because he's being rude to Arai-kun.  Hikaru runs off and Kaoru chases after him.

Kaoru apologizes on behalf of Hikaru's outburst and asks Haruhi if she'd like to hang out in town.  Kaoru devised a plan to get Hikaru and Haruhi to spend a day together, sort of like a date.  Kaoru wanted Hikaru to learn to express himself with others and come to terms with his feelings for Haruhi.
The date doesn't go too well at first, with Hikaru starting to to lose some patience, but ends up having fun with Haruhi in the end.  The host club of course trails behind their every move like a bunch of stalkers.  At some point they come across Nekozawa who's giving out readings to the people in town.

So, Haruhi runs into Arai-kun and Hikaru becomes jealous.  Haruhi wants to get back to the pension soon because she notices a thunderstorm is coming.  Hikaru doesn't want Arai-kun's help and runs off stranding Haruhi.  The host club becomes worried that the two arent back yet, so they call up Hikaru and gets yelled at by Tamaki for leaving Haruhi alone.  He tells him that Haruhi is afraid thunder, and Hikaru goes in search of her.  He finds her at a small church and protects her by covering her ears with his headphones.

Tamaki comes in, drenched from the rain, in Haruhi's aid.

Back at the host club, it turns out that Tamaki caught a cold because of the rain.  Haruhi thanks him, and his cold just magically disappears and he's his usual, crazy self.

Comments:
A really crappy review.  I was doing this by memory since I had the screencaps saved for such a long time and no comments written prior.  Let's see what I can say about this episode.

I thought it was a cute episode and I know a lot of people were waiting for this episode because of Hikaru and Haruhi's "date".  The best part of the episode was definitely watching the host club dress in costumes to avoid being spotted.

Drama: Ouran High School Host Club ep08

Official Site: TBS - Ouran High School Host Club

Story:

Haruhi met with the chairman of the school for the first time.  He gave her a stationary set so that she can write Thank you notes to him from time to time for letting her into the school.  His crazy gestures reminds her of Tamaki.

The host club is having another themed party, this time as police officers.  While having their party, they are interrupted by a little girl who mistakenly calls Tamaki "oniichama" (cute way to say older brother).  Not knowing who she was or where she came from, Nekozawa creeps in calling for her.

The little girl, Kirimi, freaks out at the sight of Nekozawa, causing him to get depressed.  He's never been able to play with her because she's scared of him.  All she wants is to see the brother she notices in the hallway picture, her prince.  Nekozawa decides to try to change himself in order to be able to play with her.

They were trying different tactics using the light, but nothing was working for him.  He would just freak out the whole time, making him feel useless.

They noticed outside that Kirimi was staring at a cat.  Nekozawa mentions that Kirimi is scared of cats the most and runs outside to save her.  His will to protect his sister made him forget about the sunlight.  After thanking the host club, he faints.  It turns out he had too much sunlight at once to handle.  To regain his energy, Tamaki plays a song for him, thus leading Haruhi to question more about Tamaki's life.

Comments:
yeaaaaaaah you like that.  An actual summary.  It's short too, in my standards.
Anyways.  I thought the episode was cute and it was a nice change, allowing Nekozawa to have his own storyline.  My favorite part had to be when Kyouya was opening and closing the curtains.  Can't even be subtle about it, he just blatantly opened and closed them like it was nothing.  I also liked how in the background when Mori was helping Honey with his tie, you can see in the background wanted posters for Kuma-chan and Usa-chan

Drama: Ouran High School Host Club ep07

Official Site: TBS - Ouran High School Host Club

Story:

The story starts with Tamaki taking a trip down to whatever scary ass place Nekozawa's Black Magic Club hangs out at.  He gets a reading from them to see what would happen when he meets Haruhi's father.

The host club head to Haruhi's apartment complex.  In style, of course.  Heading over in a Hummer limousine, they attracted the attention of the neighbors angering Haruhi.  She tells them to leave but convinced her to late them stay with some fancy cake.

The boys take their first look into a commoners household and are truly amazed at... pretty much everything.  How small the place is, how interesting it is to reuse jars, Kyouya intrigued by aluminum foil (haha!) and Tamaki finding the kotatsu (table with a heater).  After eating their cake, Honey suggested Haruhi making lunch for them.  She agrees but needed to go to the grocery store to pick up items.  All them wanted to go since theyve never been to one before.

Before heading out, Tamaki days a prayer to Haruhi's mother.  Tamaki becomes enticed by Haruhi and eventually, while getting up, trips and falls on her. Lo and Behold, Ranka, Haruhi's transvestite father, comes home and sees him on top of her.  He ends up tossing Tamaki out of the way.

The club has a group talk with Ranka.  Tamaki is super depressed after being turned down by Ranka.  The boys find out that Kyouya has been texting Haruhi's father.  Tamaki getting even more depressed is hurt by Ranka's outburst to him and runs out of the apartment crying.  Haruhi goes and comforts him and takes him to the super market.
Tamaki wanted Nabe for lunch (even though it's summer).  He was so amazed at how everything worked in the market.  He loved how everything was inexpensive and went crazy like a kid in a candy store.  The rest of the club members and Ranka went to go spy on them.

Ranka refuses to recognize Tamaki as a "father figure" and basically tells him to gtfo.  As this was going down, a little girl accidentally knocks over a canned food display that was going to topple over Haruhi.  Tamaki comes to the rescue and protects her.
In the end, they all had lunch together, under the kotatsu.  Ranka was close to accepting Tamaki until he opened up his big mouth again causing Ranka to get angry and giving him the mushrooms that Tamaki had cultivated to eat for lunch instead of the nabe in the pot.  Of course, Tamaki gets depressed and yells out.

Comments:
(I wrote this before I went on hiatus) I really liked this story line.  It's nice to see them outside of the high school, especially since its the first and basically the only time you actually get to see Haruhi's apartment.  It's also funny to see Ranka for the first time and it transitioned really well from the manga/anime to live action.  I also like the portrayal of Tamaki cultivating mushrooms in their closet.

I don't have much to comment on since I turned off my Ouran Live Action fangirling when the series ended haha.

(new comments) As I was taking screencaps for this episode I noticed a lot of small things again that they added at subtle nods to the anime and manga.  Honey passes his carrots to Mori.  While Honey didnt mention it in the drama, if you read the manga, you'll know he doesn't like carrots which I thought was really cute.

Also, why was Kyouya not wearing his glasses at the last few seconds of the episode.  He was wearing it when they said grace, but as they were actually eating, they were off haha!  Must have been fogging up from the food, small space and kotatsu warmth!! :)

Also, the mushrooms that Tamaki was given to eat... those are poisonous haha!!! As a scientist, we know that the brighter the color of items, the more poisonous they'll be.  Yikes!
